Branham’s Pets Opens at Camp Landing

Every pet owner understands the struggle of bathing their animal. There’s water all over the floor, you’re all wet, plus having to scrub down the tub and bathroom afterwards. Now, the committee a great answer to that problem, Branham’s Pets.

Branham’s Pets is a new pet facility located at Camp Landing. The store opened at the end of March and had their ribbon cutting ceremony last week.

“I had managed [a similar facility],” said Anthony Branham, who is the manager of the store that is owned by his wife, Malissa. “She decided with me, that we would just open our own place.”

The focus of Branham’s Pets is on the maintenance of your pet, not healthcare services that are provided by a veterinarian. Something that the facility offers for that pet maintenance is two DIY wash stations to bathe your pet. This solves the problem of making a mess at your home.

One station is medium sized and accommodates most pets, the other is a large station that will accommodate a dog up to 300 pounds. They also provide a variety of shampoos to use, a towel, apron, and even a high velocity blow dry station. Of course, they also offer regular bathing services by a staff member for customers that may prefer not to bathe their animal.

Branham’s also has grooming services for cats and dogs. They have three full time groomers, one of which is owner Malissa Branham, and the groomers have from three to five years of experience.

“Sometimes it’s hard to keep track of groomers,” Anthony said. “You don’t have to worry about that here. Malissa will be here.”

They also offer nail trims and filings on a walk-in basis; no appointment is required.

There are plenty of supplies available for purchase at Branham’s. Their stock includes leashes, harnesses, collars, seat belt tethers, treats, supplements, and much more, including pet CBD and flea and tick sprays. They do have some fancy toys, but there are also baskets of $1, $3, and $5 toys.

“We wanted to make it so that anyone can shop here if they want to,” Anthony stated.

Holistic foods are something else kept in stock at Branham’s. The foods are all AAFCO-compliant (an organization that sets pet nutritional guidelines for pet food products) with a four- or five-star rating and Anthony is a certified pet nutritionist, along with another staff member.

Any pet would enjoy a special “spa day” at Branham’s Pets. Their experienced staff know how to treat your pet and make the experience pleasant for the animal.
