There’s something unmistakably heartwarming about the arrival of Christmastime—the twinkling lights, the scent of pine, and the joyful energy that settles over homes and towns alike. As wreaths are hung on doors and glittering ornaments take their place on trees, the holiday spirit begins to glow brighter with every passing day. And with that glow comes one of the season’s most beloved traditions: gathering gifts that will light up the faces of those we love. For anyone ready to celebrate the merriest time of year, Morning Pointe Assisted Living & Memory Care has a special surprise wrapped and ready—its first-ever Mistletoe Market, a festive shopping experience designed to fill hearts with joy.

For centuries, giving gifts has been a cherished part of the holiday season. What began as simple wintertime traditions evolved through centuries of celebration and Christian influence into the joyous exchange we know today. And, of course, no story of Christmas giving would be complete without Saint Nicholas—better known as Santa Claus—whose legendary generosity and kindness continue to inspire the season’s spirit of giving.

Keeping that cheerful tradition alive, Morning Pointe Assisted Living & Memory Care invites the community to come together for their inaugural Mistletoe Market—a celebration bursting with holiday magic. Vendors will fill the event with handmade crafts, creative gifts, and plenty of seasonal cheer. In the spirit of family fun, Morning Pointe will also host a children’s play area complete with games and entertainment, giving little ones a space to enjoy while parents shop. And no holiday event would be complete without warm treats, so guests can sip on hot cocoa and indulge in delicious homemade goodies lovingly prepared for all who attend.

To help keep the Christmas magic stress-free, Morning Pointe will also offer complimentary gift wrapping, ensuring every purchase leaves with a festive finishing touch. With more than 40 small business vendors, shoppers will find no shortage of unique treasures to check off those wish lists.

The Mistletoe Market brings together local families, residents of Morning Pointe, and area vendors for a celebration of community and connection—everything the holiday season stands for. And the fun doesn’t stop with shopping. Special guests will make the day even brighter, including Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus, the mischievous Grinch, Santa’s cheerful elves, and the ever-welcoming staff of Morning Pointe.

Scheduled for November 29th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the very first Mistletoe Market promises a day filled with festive joy, memory-making, and holiday magic for everyone. You’ll find the celebration at 1000 Addington Drive in Russell, Kentucky, where Santa and his helpers will be waiting with smiles and Christmas cheer.

Anyone interested in attending, volunteering, or learning more about the event can contact Stacey at 606-922-1185 or Holly at 304-633-8734.

So, grab your favorite Christmas sweater, bring your brightest holiday spirit, and prepare for a day of laughter, shopping, and seasonal delight. Morning Pointe’s First Annual Mistletoe Market is ready to usher in a very merry Christmas—complete with warm cocoa, glittering gifts, and, if you’re lucky, a chance to whisper your wishes to Santa himself.
