64th DISTRICT
ASHLAND 6-3

Ashland went 4-1 at the beach for spring break with wins over Ic Catholic Prep, IL, Tri-County North, OH, Bowling Green, OH and Wolfe County with their lone loss coming to Bullitt East.
Ashland outlasted Ic Catholic, 7-6. Ashley Ingram went 3 for 3. Brookelyn Duckwyler added a double and triple. Riley Harmon had a pair of hits including a triple. Jenna Delaney drove in five with two home runs with the last one being an inside the park walk-off home run.
Ashland knocked off Tri-County North, 11-1 in six innings. Addi Laine went 3 for4 with two doubles and 2RBI. Delaney went 2 for 2 with two doubles. Harmon tripled and drove in a run. Duckwyler went yard and drove in two. Harmon earned the win from the circle while allowing only three hits, no earned runs and struck out four.
Ashland fell to Bullitt East, 5-4. Duckwyler and Aniyah Caldwell each had a pair of hits in the loss. Caldwell doubled and drove in a run. Delaney smashed another home run.
Ashland defeated Bowling Green, 8-3. Laine, Duckwyler and Delaney each had a pair of hits. Laine drove in three, Duckwyler added two and Delaney tacked on a double.
Duckwyler led the Kittens with three hits including a double and RBI in their 7-3 win over Wolfe County. Delaney added two singles.
Ashland visits Russell Tuesday, welcomes Ironton Thursday, Lawrence County Friday and plays Portsmouth Notre Dame and Hurricane, WV Saturday in the Tri-State Showcase.
BOYD COUNTY 8-3

Boyd County went 4-2 at the beach for spring break. Boyd earned wins over Ic Catholic Prep, IL, Moniteau, PA, Tri-County North, OH, Padua Franciscan, OH, Bowling Green, OH. The Lions fell to Lake Park, IL and Highlands.
Boyd defeated Ic Catholic Prep, 12-3. Kyli Kouns went 3 for 5 with an RBI. Savannah Henderson went 2 for 3 with a triple and RBI. Grace Stephens doubled and homered. Addison Miller and Myla Hamilton tripled in the win.
Boyd knocked off Moniteau, 14-0 in six innings. Jadyn Goad and Simpkins went 4 for 4. Simpkins drove in three with a triple. Henderson doubled and drove in three. Kouns tallied a double, triple and 3RBI. Brooke Jacobs allowed only two hits and struck out six.
Boyd fell to Lake Park, 10-5. Simpkins went 2 for 3 with an RBI in the loss. Hamilton and Jacobs doubled.
Boyd knocked off Tri-County North, 12-2. Simpkins went 3 for 3 with a double, homer and 3RBI. Grace Stephens homered as well while driving in three. Goad and Lacyn Black doubled. Kouns added a triple.
Boyd outlasted Padua Franciscan, 4-3 in eight innings. Simpkins fanned 18 in the win. Reagan Robbins and Simpkins had two hits each. Kouns had a double.
Boyd doubled up Bowling Green, 6-3. Goad, Kouns, Simpkins and Jacobs each had a pair of hits. Jacobs tripled and homered. Simpkins added a triple.
Boyd closed out the trip with a 12-11 loss to Highlands. Simpkins, Hamilton each had three hits and both tripled.
Boyd welcomes Rowan County Monday, Portsmouth Notre Dame Tuesday, Winfield, WV Friday and Bryan Station and Mercy on Saturday.
FAIRVIEW 5-2
Fairview was idle for spring break. Fairview plays Menifee County in the All “A” Monday and visits West Carter Friday.
63rd DISTRICT
GREENUP COUNTY 8-1
Greenup County went 3-1 at the beach for spring break, with wins over South Oldham, Ballard and Owensboro and a loss to South Laurel.
Greenup beat South Oldham, 5-1. Josey Kegley allowed only two hits and struck out seven. Jayden Cooper and Morgan Collier tripled.
Greenup fell to South Oldham, 13-0 in five innings. Charleigh Grayson and Khloe and Warnock had the only two hits.
Greenup defeated Ballard, 10-0 in six innings. Maddy Steele went 3 for 4 with a double, triple, home run and drove in three. Adrian Wells tripled. Kegley allowed three hits and struck out 14.
Greenup closed out the trip with an 11-1 win over Owensboro in six innings. Kegley fanned 16 in the win. Laela Matthews and Cooper each had three hits. Matthews homered. Cooper drove in three with a double. Matthews had two doubles and drove in two. Wells and Grayson doubled.
Greenup visits South Point Tuesday, Lewis County Thursday, plays Grant County at Boyd Friday and Fairland and Male Saturday at East Carter.
RACELAND 7-2
Raceland went 3-1 at the beach for spring break. The Rams defeated Ohio County, Reavis, IL 15-1 and Anderson, OH, 13-6 with the lone loss coming to Woodford County.
Raceland defeated Ohio County, 12-7. Peyton Mackie, Shelby Gauze, Baylee Burney, Kali Vance and Bryna Wellman each had two hits. Gauze and Wellman tripled and Gauze drove in four. Vance had two doubles.
Raceland fell to Woodford County, 6-4. Gauze went 3 for 4 with a triple and two RBI. Vance added a double. Allison McMackin drove in two.
Raceland plays in the All “A” Classic Monday and Tuesday, welcomes Huntington Wednesday, visits Portsmouth Notre Dame Thursday and Lewis County Friday.
RUSSELL 4-6
Russell went 2-3 at the beach for spring break. Russell earned wins over Ic Catholic Prep, 14-13 and Independence, WV, 11-10 with losses to Highlands, 12-5, St. Francis, IL, 14-2 in five innings and Bullitt East, 10-0 in five innings.
Karson Honaker had a walk-off double in Russell’s win over Independence. The Lady Devils had 17 hits including two home runs and three RBIs by Ava Howard.
Russell welcomes Ashland Tuesday, Johnson Central Friday and Fern Creek and Grant County Saturday.
