The Greenup County Public Library is preparing to bring a celebration of comics, books, movies, anime, games and popular culture to the community with its upcoming Library Con. The event will take place Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Flatwoods Public Library.

Located at 1705 Argillite Road in Flatwoods, Library Con will offer attendees an opportunity to explore a variety of interests while connecting with creators, vendors, authors, artists and fellow fans. The event is designed to celebrate the many forms of entertainment and creativity that have brought generations of people together.

According to promotional information from the Greenup County Public Library, the convention will feature a wide range of activities throughout the day.
