Meet Ink & Ivy Bookstore, a charming mobile bookstore owned by Brittany Ludwig and Lisa Stevens, who are not just selling books but cultivating a community one page at a time.

       Launched in June 2026, Ink & Ivy is a vibrant traveling haven for bibliophiles. With a truck fitted with shelves that hold between 500 and 600 books, Brittany and Lisa are dismantling the barrier of distance, ensuring that a good story is never more than a short drive—or a few taps on a screen—away.

       This community-first philosophy is at the heart of Ink & Ivy. The business model is a hybrid of modern convenience and personal touch. Customers can browse the full catalog on the website, opt for direct shipping, or choose the novel option of "store pickup," scheduling a time to collect their order when the truck is set up in their neighborhood.

     For those who love a surprise, the shop offers a "Blind Date with a Book" and even a "Blind Date with a Kindle," promising an adventure curated just for them. Payments are made easy with cash, card, tap-to-pay, and even Afterpay options online.

  The selection is curated to be wonderfully eclectic. From the gripping tension of thrillers and sci-fi to the heartfelt emotion of romance and drama, the shelves are stacked with something for everyone. Co-owner Lisa Stevens proudly states, "Our genres are Dark Romance, Fantasy, Drama, Thriller, Children's, Young Adult, Sci-Fi, Romance, and more! We have something for everyone."

      Beyond books, the store is a treasure trove of bookish gifts, including unique accessories and tumblers that allow patrons to show their love for reading. True to their community ethos, they also accept donations of used books, giving stories a second life.

"Once we are in our storefront, it will be your favorite space to come to relax, read, study, or unwind," Brittany explains, hinting at plans for a welcoming atmosphere with a cozy coffee spot where customers can sip while they read. It's a vision for a true community hub—a place for homework, research, or simply a quiet moment to escape into another world.

       For now, the open road is their canvas. Ink & Ivy is more than a business venture; it's a passion project born from a desire to rekindle a love for reading. "We want to bring more to the community and get more people interested in reading again," Lisa affirms.
