On the first night of Halloween my best friend gave to me:  some tasty trick or treat candy. 

On the second night of Halloween my best friend gave to me: two ghastly gourds and some tasty trick or treat candy. 

On the third night of Halloween my best friend gave to me: three black cats, two ghastly gourds, and some tasty trick and a treat candy.

On the fourth night of Halloween my best friend gave to me: four vampire bats, three black cats, two ghastly gourds, and some tasty trick and a treat candy. 

On the fifth night of Halloween my best friend gave to me: five glowing skulls…four vampire bats, three black cats, two ghastly gourds, and some tasty trick and a treat candy.

On the sixth night of Halloween my best friend gave to me: six scary books… five glowing skulls…four vampire bats, three black cats, two ghastly gourds, and some tasty trick and a treat candy. 

On the seventh night of Halloween my best friend gave to me: seven wolfmen howling, six scary books… five glowing skulls…four vampire bats, three black cats, two ghastly gourds, and some tasty trick and a treat candy. 

On the eighth night of Halloween my best friend gave to me: eight spiders crawling, seven wolfmen howling, six scary books… five glowing skulls…four vampire bats, three black cats, two ghastly gourds, and some tasty trick and a treat candy. 

On the ninth night of Halloween my best friend gave to me: nine monsters mashing, eight spiders crawling, seven wolfmen howling, six scary books… five glowing skulls…four vampire bats, three black cats, two ghastly gourds, and some tasty trick and a treat candy. 

On the tenth night of Halloween my best friend gave to me: ten witches brewing, nine monsters mashing, eight spiders crawling, seven wolfmen howling, six scary books… five glowing skulls…four vampire bats, three black cats, two ghastly gourds, and some tasty trick and a treat candy. 

On the eleventh night of Halloween my best friend gave to me: eleven mummies marching, ten witches brewing, nine monsters mashing, eight spiders crawling, seven wolfmen howling, six scary books… five glowing skulls…four vampire bats, three black cats, two ghastly gourds, and some tasty trick and a treat candy. 

On the twelfth night of Halloween my best friend gave to me: twelve ghosts a-spooking, eleven mummies marching,ten witches brewing, nine monsters mashing, eight spiders crawling, seven wolfmen howling, six scary books… five glowing skulls…four vampire bats, three black cats, two ghastly gourds, and some tasty trick and a treat candy. 

On the thirteenth night of Halloween my best friend gave to me: thirteen pounds of candy corn, twelve ghosts a-spooking, eleven mummies marching, ten witches brewing, nine monsters mashing, eight spiders crawling, seven wolfmen howling, six scary books… five glowing skulls…four vampire bats, three black cats, two ghastly gourds, and some tasty trick and a treat candy.
