The El Hasa Shriners in Boyd County, Kentucky, are ready to kick off a thrilling season with their highly anticipated Sportsman Raffle! This exciting event will take place on April 5, 2025, at the El Hasa Temple, and tickets are on sale now for just $25 each. The ticket price covers food and beverages, and, best of all, it automatically enters attendees into a raffle with a chance to win up to 25 incredible prizes, including some of the most sought-after gun models!

The raffle will start at 7 p.m., with prizes being drawn every five minutes. Don’t worry if you can’t stay the whole time—winners don’t need to be present to claim their prizes. However, if you win a firearm, you’ll need to pass an NICS Background Check to take home your prize. Some of the exciting gun prizes include a Glock 43 9MM, a Winchester SXP 12 Gauge, a DB AR 15 Brown 5.56, and a Ruger American 243. There are also cash prizes up for grabs—$500 and $1,000! All guns are generously provided by The Range.

“We’re also giving away door prizes!” El Hasa Potentate James ‘J.L.’ Mick shared with excitement. “And we’ve got a 50/50 drawing, and the Queen of Hearts game lined up, too!” Mick continued. “Right now, the Queen of Hearts jackpot is sitting at $5,000 since it’s just getting started. And everyone loves the Queen of Hearts. Just last week, the payout was almost $15,000!”

The raffles and the popular Queen of Hearts game are just a few of the thrilling fundraising activities El Hasa organizes throughout the year. Mick added, “The Queen of Hearts drawing happens every Tuesday night during El Hasa Bingo. It’s a progressive jackpot that keeps growing until someone finally pulls the Queen!”

“There will be tons of games to enjoy, and the gaming machines will be open too,” Mick added, giving a sneak peek of the fun awaiting everyone at the Sportsman’s Raffle event. Doors open at 6 p.m. on April 5, and while tickets can be purchased at the door, Mick encourages everyone to check out the El Hasa Shriners Facebook page for more details or give the Shrine Temple a call. “We’ve got tickets available for all our upcoming events, and a lot of people stop by to grab them,” he said.

A great way to connect and score tickets is by attending Bingo Night at El Hasa on Tuesdays. “We’ve got multiple Bingo games, with cash prizes that can go up to $5,000!” Mick exclaimed. “For more info, just visit our website at elhasa.net, and there’s a link to get more details.”

Bingo is a beloved local tradition, and El Hasa Bingo is the place to be. Located at 13450 State Route 180, Ashland, Kentucky, the Bingo Hall offers both smoking and non-smoking rooms. For just $7, patrons can enjoy all the Bingo games they can handle, along with fun pull tab games like Monkey Business and tasty meals such as brown beans, cornbread, and smoked pork tenderloin.

The El Hasa Shriners are deeply involved in both the community and beyond. The proceeds from their fundraising events go towards supporting their hospitals, helping local children, and covering various expenses. “A portion of all the money raised in 2025 will be donated in November to the Shriners Hospital of Dayton, Ohio,” Mick revealed.

For a full schedule of upcoming events, be sure to visit their Facebook page, and don’t forget to check out the link to donate to the Shriners at elhasa.net.

Don’t miss out on the fun—mark your calendar for the Sportsman’s Raffle on April 5 and come support a great cause!
