Have you ever wondered what the answer might be to a historic mystery or pondered questions of ancestry that could only be resolved by past relatives and their knowledge of events? Sometimes messages can be left behind in the form of a letter tucked away in a box or an antique relic passed down through generations, only to be opened by the right person, unlocking a world of mystery and intrigue with its discovery.
There are numerous variables that can arise, leading to what could be an unexplained happening, such as strange noises, unexplained figures passing in the night as we’re driving, or even the miracle of lives being spared during storms with damaging effects. With so many strange events taking place throughout history, the natural response has been the development of paranormal research and unique approaches to finding the truth regarding the mysteries in our lives. As dedicated and like-minded researchers push into the future, they bring with them libraries of information pertaining to methods of research and tools that can be utilized for the collection of data.
Most of us have heard the word “paranormal” at least once in our lives as we encounter ghost stories and documented cases of the unexplained. But what does the word mean, and why does it exist? The word paranormal outlines the mysterious occurrences that take place all around us, from ghostly apparitions to stories of extraterrestrial encounters. Phenomena and interactions with the unknown world around us have led to the study of these strange occurrences in our lives, and as a result, paranormal research has become an established field with valid results.
