ASHLAND 1-4-1

 

Ashland went 1-1-1 this week with a win over Fleming County, a loss to Cabell Midland, 2-0 and a 1-1 tie with Cooper.


Troy Barnett led the Tomcats with a pair of goals and assists in a 5-2 win over Fleming. Nick Grabus, Silas Pierzala and Casey Steele each netted a goal. Pierzala and Steele added an assist in the win.

 

Ashland welcomes Huntington St. Joe Tuesday, Winfield, WV Thursday and travels to Huntington Saturday.

 

BOYD COUNTY 1-2

 

Boyd County fell to East Carter, 6-0 in the Lions only game this week.

 

Boyd welcomes Bath County Monday in their only contest this week.

 

RUSSELL 3-2

 

Russell went 3-0 this week with wins over Lawrence County, Fleming County and Capital, WV.

 

Russell knocked off Lawrence, 1-0. Brylee Mullins netted the lone goal for the win while Blaine Evans assisted. Caden Hampton had a shutout in the net with four saves.

 

Russell rolled Fleming, 6-2. Ben Totten turned in a hat trick with Brylee Mullins, Gavin Grandison and Elijah Neel adding goals. Trey Evans had a trio of assists.

 

Russell knocked off Capital, 5-2. Trey Evans had two goals and an assist. Brylee Mullins added a goal and pair of assists. Gunnar Hignite and Elijah Neel also scored.

 

Russell visits Ironton St. Joe Monday, welcomes Montgomery County Thursday and Menifee County Saturday.

 

GREENUP COUNTY 0-1

 

Greenup County fell to West Carter 7-2 in its only game thus far this season. No stats were reported. The Musketeers game with Menifee County was cancelled.

 

Greenup is scheduled to welcome East Carter Monday, Bath County Thursday and visit St. Pat on Saturday.
