ASHLAND 2-2
Ashland went 1-1 this week with a 76-10 win over Fairview and 68-28 loss to Fairland. No stats were reported.
Emily Neese led the Kittens with 13 points against Fairview. Aryanna Gulley and Molly Scites each added 10.
Ashland welcomes East Carter Monday and opens the Queen of the Commonwealth Friday against Butler.
BOYD COUNTY 3-2
Boyd went 1-1 this week with an 84-66 loss to Spring Valley and a 66-64 win over Menifee County.
Sophia Stevens had 21 points in the loss to Spring Valley. Jada Ray added 17. Kollyn Groves kicked in 10.
Boyd welcomes Greenup Monday and plays Lexington Dunbar Friday at Montgomery County.
FAIRVIEW 1-6
Fairview went 1-3 this week with a 45-27 win over Jenkins and losses to Bath County, 67-25, Chesapeake, 75-15 and Ashland, 76-10.
Bre Moore had 19 points in the loss to Bath.
Emma Pierce led the Eagles with 11 points in the loss to Chesapeake.
Fairview visits Rock Hill Monday and Coal Grove Saturday.
63rd DISTRICT
GREENUP COUNTY 1-4
Greenup fell in both contests this week, 73-30 to East Carter in the EKC Tournament semifinals and 54-24 to Mason County. No stats were reported.
Greenup visits Boyd County Monday, West Carter Tuesday and plays Powell County and Nicholas County on Saturday and Sunday at Bath County.
RACELAND 3-0
Raceland defeated Fleming County 54-51. Nim Maynard led the Rams with 32 points, grabbed seven rebounds and hit five 3s. Brooke Campbell added 11 including a triple late in the fourth that put the Rams in front for good. Allayson Rigsby kicked in nine points and grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds.
Raceland welcomes South Webster Monday and meets South Laurel Friday at Montgomery County.
RUSSELL 4-1
Russell went 2-1 this week with wins over Rowan County, 63-50 and East Carter, 49-46 in the EKC Tournament and a loss to Covington Holy Cross, 55-42.
Bethany Allen led the Devils with 22 points in the win over Rowan in the semifinals. Kennedy Darnell had 19. Both hit four 3s each. Gabby Oborne finished with 12.
Russell held off East Carter for the EKC Tournament Championship behind 20 from Darnell. Oborne added 17.
Russell visits Montgomery County Monday, welcomes Wayne, WV Friday and East Carter Saturday.
