Vanessa Akers, First Grade Teacher at Rose Hill Christian School, is in charge of setting up the vendor fair, shared, “Rose Hill Christian School will be hosting their annual Festival of Trees & Vendor Fair on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.” This vendor fair is free for the public to come and enjoy and provides everyone with the perfect opportunity to start shopping for those unique Christmas gifts that you won’t find in big box department stores. With over 30 vendors you are bound to find something for everyone on your shopping list.
Akers noted that there are over 30 vendors that will be present such as, Stephanie Boyles with her permanent jewelry, Joy in the Garden, Usborne Books, Wonderfully Made which specializes in kids clothing and also offers a wide range of clothing for children with disabilities, Bubbles and Sweet, Dainty Daisey, Pretty and Poised, Just Dry It, and Southern Sassy Sisters just to name a few.
If you were hoping to set up at Rose Hill’s annual vendor fair … you are in luck because there are still a few outside spots available. Akers shared, “I do have some availability especially if they are willing to risk the weather. Our outside spots are $10. The indoor spots are $25, and we actually have a waiting list for the inside spots.”
“In addition to the numerous vendors that will on site that day, we will also have various food trucks which includes a group that will be making fresh doughnuts on the scene.” Explained Akers. Besides vendors and food trucks, those in attendance will also have the opportunity to visit the prayer tent and share their prayers with others that will help pray for your loved ones and/or concerns.
Don’t forget to visit Rose Hill’s Festival of Trees, which features a wide selection of 4.5-foot trees that have been decorated by each of the homeroom classes at Rose Hill. Akers explained that “All of our Christmas trees have been decorated with a Christ centered theme and all trees will be set up and available for silent auction. We have also had several businesses and individuals donate items that will be auctioned off as well.” All proceeds from this vendor fair will go directly into the school fund.
“We want this to be a really huge ministry opportunity. This vendor fair isn’t about just making money. We would love to have your prayers. Our goal is to have all things pointing toward Jesus. It’s important that we all understand the true meaning of Christmas and the importance of keeping Christ at the center of everything.”
As Rose Hill Christian School prepares to host its annual Vendor Fair and Festival of Trees, the focus remains on creating a joyful, Christ-centered experience for the entire community. This event not only offers unique shopping opportunities and festive activities but also reinforces the importance of faith and connection during the holiday season. By celebrating the true meaning of Christmas through prayer, community support, and beautifully decorated trees, Rose Hill invites everyone to join in a spirit of generosity and goodwill. “As Christians we have fun. We are fun people; we are good people that want to be involved in spreading the gospel. So, we figured what better way to do so than with our vendor fair. We hope to see everyone out there on Saturday.” Akers shared.
