A Valentine’s Event with Family in Mind

Looking at our bank accounts after payday may leave us wondering what to do with what is left over, if there is anything at all by that point. After paying utilities, expenditures, and dishing out any remainder we have toward living expenses, there might not seem to be a lot left to put back. With inflation and rising living costs, the American Dream is something we work harder for each day. Security is a crucial component to survival today, as we never know what may be around the corner. An accident or unexpected event may leave us and family members struggling to keep up with our living costs and the comforts we may have become accustomed to. Insurance and investment may be exactly what is needed in your life to solidify your investments, time, and future.

The first notable instances of insurance provision are found in 100 BC, where Roman soldiers would cover funeral expenses for loved ones if their family should pass during combat. Further insurance establishment can be found during the 18th century, in which funeral expenses and living arrangements were provided for families in a time of need, considering the loss of a family member. Starting as coverage for soldiers and their families, insurance has been carried into modern days, where we utilize these means to secure our lives in the event of losing a loved one. Uncertainty can be resolved in planning for the future, as we store away what we can in hopes of preventing damages accrued through loss.

Death, being an unstable and unpredictable factor in our lives, means we never truly know when we will find ourselves face to face with the inevitable. There are many ways we can plan regarding our lives, but the question of “Where do we begin?” is all too real. As most of us avoid planning due to the unnerving effect that the idea brings into focus, considering death and the preventatives that come with it may be too much. All too often, we see high costs associated with insurance coverage and the horror stories that are passed down when someone doesn’t have money to cover funeral arrangements. The conflicting topic of health and life insurance prevents a lot of people from ever facing the void and entering a life of security. Insurance has been proven to stabilize very intense scenarios where loss is prevalent during the transition after the death of a family member. With insurance, no one must lose.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and with the holiday comes the reminder of, “what can I do for my family and loved ones?” The answer may not be so far away as you had thought. On Feb. 13, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Bookhamer Life and Legacy Partners are inviting everyone to attend their grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony of their new suite. Located at 1410 Winchester Avenue in Ashland, Kentucky, the event is set with an on-site venue allowing attendees a firsthand look into what will become the operations for providing our residents with a secure future. The ribbon-cutting ceremony is intended to celebrate their new office location, as well as establish a new mission and planning basis for their brokerage. The company is founded by a husband-and-wife team, Lauren and Marko Bookhamer, who have opened their doors and hearts to the community in the hopes of creating comfort and stability for everyone they can.

This year’s Valentine’s celebration could include preparing for the future and securing the untimely occasions we all so desperately require assistance with. “Life insurance is a love letter”, Mrs. Bookhamer exclaims, as she highlights the desire for everyone to have stability in their lives when considering their futures with their families. Whether you are expecting to put something back or invest in the future of someone else, this Bookhamer Life and Legacy Partners event is sure to entertain, with humble beginnings in mind. Anyone interested in the event or who may have questions about life or health insurance is invited to reach out through Bookhamer Life and Legacy’s Facebook page or by contacting them at their offices at LRB@LaurenRBookhamerLLC.com or by phone at 606.744.1326.
