64th DISTRICT

ASHLAND 11-5

Ashland went 3-0 this week and has won eight straight games dating back to a clean slate through the AIT. Ashland had wins over Chapmanville, WV, Lincoln County and Bardstown (77-58).

Drew Smith dropped 36 points in the 80-72 win over Chapmanville. Smith went 9 of 15 from behind the arc in the win. Zander Carter and Tyson Lalonde each added 14 points. Lalonde led the team with nine rebounds.

Carter led the Tomcats with 26 points and 11 rebounds in their 78-23 win over Lincoln County. Carter went 4 of 5 from downtown. Preston Hoskins went 5 of 7 from long distance for 17 points. Caleb Clarke added 12. Smith kicked in 11.

Ashland visits Russell Tuesday, Pike County Central Friday and welcomes Pikeville Saturday.

BOYD COUNTY 7-8

Boyd County fell 65-61 to Rowan County in the Kentucky 2A Section 6 championship in their only game this week. Jacob Spurlock went 5 of 10 from downtown and led the Lions with 23 points. Ethan Rardon connected on 7 of 10 threes for 22 points.

Boyd visits Rowan Tuesday and Morgan County Friday.

FAIRVIEW 3-11

Fairview went 1-2 this week with wins over Scioto Christian, 63-26, Portsmouth East, 44-36 and a 75-45 loss to Elliott County in the All “A” Classic Semifinals.

Aiden Daily led the Eagles with 19 points in the loss to Elliott County. Tevin Smith kicked in 18 points.

 Fairview welcomes Portsmouth Tuesday, visits Phelps Friday and New Boston Saturday.



63RD DISTRICT

 GREENUP COUNTY 5-10

Greenup went 2-1 this week with wins over East Carter and Western Brown, OH (58-45) and a loss to Russell.

Greenup fell to Russell, 62-53. Bryson Chandley led the Musketeers with 17 points. Kasey Gammon added 14. Gavin Herrington kicked in 10.

Gammon went 6 of 12 from long distance and dropped 31 points to lead Greenup to a 56-49 win over East Carter. Hunter Holbrook kicked in 15 in the winning effort.

 Greenup welcomes Portsmouth Notre Dame Thursday and visits Chillicothe Saturday.

 RACELAND 12-4

Raceland went 2-1 this week with wins over Morgan County and Phelps (70-69) and a loss to Elliott County.

Connor Thacker led Raceland with 25 points and 13 rebounds in their 66-53 win over Morgan County in the semifinals of the All “A” Classic. Jonah Arnett added 15

Raceland fell to Elliott County, 63-58 in the All “A” Championship. Arnett paced the Rams with 19 points. Reece Hicks kicked in 12 points. Charles Welch added 10 points. Thacker finished with nine points and 11 rebounds.

 Raceland visits Chesapeake Tuesday.

 RUSSELL 7-7

Russell went 2-0 this week with wins over Greenup County and West Carter (60-37).

 Caleb Rimmer led the Devils with 28 points and 10 rebounds while going 6 of 9 from long distance in their 62-52 win over Greenup. Ryder Burgess poured in 14 points.

Russell welcomes Ashland Tuesday, visits Lewis County Friday and Morgan County Saturday.
