ASHLAND 7-5
Ashland defeated Corbin 87-72 in their only game this week. The Tomcats torched the nets in the win, shooting 61% from the field while hitting 11 triples. Zander Carter went 10 of 12 from the field to yield 24 points while grabbing eight rebounds. Braxton Jennings kicked in 14. Peston Hoskins and Drew Smith added 12 each. Tyson LaLonde tossed in 11. Caleb Clarke had 10.
Ashland visits GRC Thursday and welcomes Huntington Expression Prep Saturday.
BOYD COUNTY 6-7
Boyd County defeated Bath County 87-55 in their only game this week. Jacob Spurlock led the way with 33 points. Jackson Childers had 13 and Ethan Rardon 11.
Boyd plays Estill County at Rowan County Tuesday in the Kentucky 2A.
FAIRVIEW 1-10
Fairview went 0-2 this week with losses to Chesapeake, 73-23 and Raceland, 78-31. Tevin Smith led the Eagles with 11 and Aiden Dailey added 7 in the loss to Raceland.
Fairview was scheduled to play Elliott County Monday in the All “A” Classic and plays Spring Valley Saturday at Ashland.
63RD DISTRICT
GREENUP COUNTY 3-9
Greenup went 0-2 this week with losses to Eltham, Australia, 64-55 and Rowan County, 61-56 in the Kentucky 2A.
Bryson Chandley had 21 points in the loss to Eltham. Kasey Gammon had 10.
Greenup welcomes Russell Friday and visits Mason County Saturday.
RACELAND 10-3
Raceland defeated Fairview, 78-31 in their only game this week. Raceland hits 14 triples in the win. Connor Thacker had 20 points in the win. Jonah Arnett kicked in 15 points and Jakob Waller 12. Waller and Thacker both his four 3s.
Raceland was scheduled to meet Morgan County Monday in the All “A” Classic at Fairview.
RUSSELL 5-7
Russell went 2-0 this week with wins over Lewis County, 62-37 and Huntington Expression Prep, 62-61.
Gabe Pridemore had 22 points in the win over Lewis County. Ryder Burgess and Caleb Rimmer had 11.
Russell visits East Carter Tuesday and Greenup County Friday.
