64TH DISTRICT


ASHLAND 16-7

Ashland went 1-2 this week with a win over Martin County and losses to Morgantown and George Washington.

Ashland defeated Martin County, 90-57. Elijah Neel led the way with 23 points. Caleb Clarke added 19. Justin Hughes had 15. Alijah Owens finished with 14. Drew Smith had 13.

Ashland fell in double overtime to Morgantown, 89-88. Neel paced the Tomcats with 28. Clarke had 22. Smith netted 18. Hughes had 12.

Ashland lost to GW, 81-56. Clarke was one of two players in double figures with 20. Owens had 12.

Ashland closes the regular season with a visit from Raceland Tuesday, visits Lawrence County Thursday and Bell County Friday.


BOYD COUNTY 20-6

Boyd went 3-0 this week with wins over Martinsburg, Conner (92-81) and Newport (72-61).

Boyd knocked off Martinsburg, 98-79. Jacob Spurlock had 41 in the win behind eight triples while grabbing 11 rebounds. Malachi Payne had 21. Ethan Rardon kicked in 10.

Boyd closes the regular season with Huntington Prep Tuesday, George Washington Wednesday, Elliott County Thursday and a trip to Montgomery County Saturday.


FAIRVIEW 2-16

Fairview went 1-3 this week with a win over Rose Hill and losses to Raceland, Russell (83-25) and Lewis County (68-20).

Fairview defeated Rose Hill, 57-25. Julius Smith led the way with 13. Eli Cummings had 12 points and 10 rebounds. Devin Gipson netted 11 and grabbed 20 rebounds. Jayden Kaylor finished with 10. Mason LeMaster also grabbed 10 rebounds.

Fairview fell to Raceland, 79-35. Smith had 12. Gipson added 10.

Fairview visits Bath County Monday, Tolsia, WV Tuesday and West Carter Thursday.


ROSE HILL 0-13

Rose Hill went 0-3 this week with losses to Portsmouth, 82-41, Fairview, 57-25 and Tri State Homeschool Athletics, 56-51.

Rose Hill closes the season at 0-13.


63RD DISTRICT


GREENUP COUNTY 8-15

Greenup went 0-4 this week with losses to Rowan County, Lewis County, Raceland and Russell (58-51).

Greenup fell to Rowan, 62-55. Cam Chaffins led the way with 13. Bradley Adkins and Kasey Gammon had 10. Gammon also grabbed 10 rebounds.

Greenup fell to Lewis, 68-48. Chaffins had 10.

Greenup lost to Raceland, 57-43. Gammon paced the Musketeers with 21. Keiron Jenkins had 11.

Greenup welcomes West Carter Tuesday, visits Lucasville Valley Wednesday and welcomes Mason County Thursday.


RACELAND 16-9

Raceland went 3-1 this week with wins over Fairview (79-35), Greenup County and Bath County (63-33) and a 51-46 loss to Russell.

Jonah Arnett led the Rams with 17 in the loss to Russell. Eli Evans had 12.

Raceland defeated Greenup 57-43. Charles Welch had a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Arnett kicked in 14. Evans had 10.

Raceland welcomes Lewis County Monday, visits Ashland Tuesday and welcomes Nicholas County Friday.


RUSSELL 17-5

Russell went 3-0 this week with wins over Raceland, Fairview (83-25) and Greenup County (58-51).

Russell defeated Raceland 51-46. Ryder Burgess had 18. Gabe Pridemore added 13. Tyler Cordial finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Russell visits East Carter Tuesday, Rowan County Thursday and welcomes Coal Grove Friday.
