ASHLAND 4-7-2
Ashland went 1-1 this week with a 1-0 win over Bath County and a 1-0 loss to Russell.
Landon Alfaro Guerrero netted the winning goal over Bath. Casey Steele assisted. Maxx Brown worked the shutout in the net and tallied a save.
Ashland welcomes Rowan County Tuesday.
BOYD COUNTY 5-6
Boyd went 1-1 this week with a 7-2 win over West Carter and a 2-1 loss to South Point.
Eli Simpkins had a hat trick in the win over West Carter. Joseph Blankenship netted two and assisted on another. Josiah Vipperman and Conner Davis added goals. Cameron Stanton had a pair of assists. Caleb Clark and Brady Coleman assisted as well. Logan Bradley had five saves in the net.
Stanton had the lone goal in the loss to South Point. Bradley had six saves in net.
Boyd is idle until Sept. 30.
RUSSELL 8-6
Russell went 2-0 this week with shutout wins over Lawrence County, 3-0 and Ashland, 1-0.
Trey Evans had a pair of goals in the win over Lawrence. Brylee Mullins added the third goal while kicking in an assist. Harper Robinson and Gavin Grandinson assisted as well. Caden Hampton had two saves in net.
Mullins had the lone goal in the win over Ashland. Hampton tallied five saves.
Russell welcomes East Carter Tuesday and Huntington St. Joe Wednesday.
GREENUP COUNTY 1-8
Greenup fell to Johnson Central 8-0. The Musketeers welcome Mason County Tuesday, Paintsville Thursday and Menifee County Saturday.
