64th DISTRICT

ASHLAND 2-2

Ashland went 0-2 this week with losses to Greenup and Coal Grove.

Ashland fell to Greenup, 3-1. Aubrey Foster, Brookelyn Duckwyler and Jenna Delaney had the lone three hits for the Kittens. Delaney drove in the only run.

Ashland fell to Coal Grove, 8-6. Delaney paced the Kittens with two home runs and drove in three. Zoey Smith added a triple and drove in three as well. Duckwyler doubled.

Ashland heads to Myrtle Beach for spring break softball at the Cal Ripken Experience.

BOYD COUNTY 3-1

Boyd defeated Johnson Central, 9-3. Myla Hamilton and Elyn Simpkins each went 3 for 4 and drove in a pair of runs. Simpkins doubled. Brooke Jacobs, Grace Stephens and Kyli Kouns drove in a run.

Boyd heads to Myrtle Beach for spring break softball at the Cal Ripken Experience.

FAIRVIEW 5-2

Fairview went 3-2 this week with wins over Tolsia, WV, Hannan, WV and Menifee County and losses to Huntington St. Joe and Tolsia.

Fairview fell to St. Joe, 13-3 in five innings. Kailyn Adkins went 3 for 3 with a triple. Sydney Johnson went 2 for 3. Madison Loving drove in two. Bre Moore added an RBI.

Fairview split with Tolsia, winning 13-5 in five innings and falling 14-11. Loving went 3 for 4 with a double and 2RBI in the win. Johnson went 3 for 4 with a triple and four batted in. Kylie Parks went 2 for 3 with a double and 2RBI. Olivia Meade added a double.

Moore went yard and drove in two in the loss to Tolsia. Adkins kicked in a triple. Paige VanBibber and Moore drove in two. Parks had a pair of hits with 4RBI.

Fairview rolled past Hannan, 17-1 in three innings. Adkins went 3 for 3 with two doubles and 4RBI.

Adkins and Moore doubled in the 15-13 shootout win over Menifee. Adkins went 4 for 5. Loving added three hits and 3RBI. Grant drove in three as well.

Fairview is idle for spring break.

63rd DISTRICT

GREENUP COUNTY 5-0

Greenup picked up a pair of wins this week after dropping Ashland and Russell.

Greenup knocked off Ashland, 3-1. Khloe Warnock went 2 for 3. Jaylen Cooper had a solo home run. Josey Kegley allowed only three hits and struck out 13 in the win.

Greenup picked up a district win in a 5-1 victory over Russell. Maddy Steele went yard and drove in two. Morgan Collier and Adrian Wells doubled. Cooper drove in a pair of runs. Kegley tossed a no hitter while giving up an unearned run and struck out 15.

Greenup plays spring break softball this week at Fort Walton Beach.

RACELAND 4-1

Raceland went 2-0 this week with run rule wins over Fairland and Rock Hill.

Raceland hammered Fairland, 15-4 in five innings. Davanna Grubb led the rams with a pair of hits. Carly Fannin and Kali Vance homered. Fannin drove in three. Vance had two.

Raceland dumped Rock Hill, 17-1 in five innings. Lilly Poplin and Vance homered in the win. Vance drove in five. Poplin added 4RBI. Peyton Mackie and Poplin doubled.

Raceland plays spring break softball this week at Fort Walton Beach.

RUSSELL 2-3

Russell went 1-1 this week with a win over Lewis County and a loss to Greenup County.

Karson Honaker went 4 for 5 with a home run, two doubles and 4RBI in the 15-6 win over Lewis. Bella Hall went 3 for 5 with 3RBI. Jayla Chalupa homered twice. Ava Howard had a pair of doubles. Alexandra McBride doubled as well.

Russell fell to Greenup, 5-1. Gabby Oborne had the lone hit for the Devils.
