ASHLAND 2-3

Ashland went 1-2 this week with a 4-2 win over Ironton St. Joe and losses to East Carter, 4-2 and 2-0 to Bluegrass United.

Meisha Salisbury had a pair of goals to lift Ashland over St. Joe. Marisa Baker and Hayden Workman added a goal each. Leah Payne, Lainey Hankins and Baker each had an assist.

Salisbury collected both goals in the loss to East Carter. Rihanna Chavira and Baker had an assist.

Ashland visits Menifee County Tuesday and welcomes Pikeville Saturday.

BOYD COUNTY 3-1-1

Boyd went 1-1-1 this week with an 8-0 win over Fleming County, a 2-1 loss to Martin County and a 2-2 tie with Montgomery County.

Faith Burnside found the net six times in the win over Fleming. Aubree Moore assisted on four goals and scored one of her own. Viv Allen tallied her first varsity goal in the winning effort. Skylee Rogusky had a pair of saves in the shutout win.

Burnside netted the only Boyd goal in the loss to Martin County. Emilee Bush had six saves in net.

Boyd welcomes Mason County Tuesday night in the Class 2A opening round in their only match this week.

RUSSELL 3-1-1

Russell went 1-0-1 this week with a 6-0 win over Rowan County and a scoreless tie against GRC.

Ava Barker and Lily Ervin each had a pair of goals in the win over Rowan. Barker also had two assists. Haley Daniels and Emma Stamper also scored a goal. Kaelyn Howard also had two assists. Gabrielle Williams had five saves in net in the shutout.

Russell welcomes East Carter Tuesday, visits Prestonsburg Thursday and Bluegrass United on Saturday.

GREENUP COUNTY 1-3

Greenup went 0-2 this week with losses to Morgan County, 2-0 and Menifee County, 8-0. No stats were reported.

Greenup welcomes Paintsville Tuesday.
