64TH DISTRICT


ASHLAND 22-5

Ashland went 2-1 this week with wins over Montgomery County and Johnson Central (69-53) and a loss to Pikeville.

Ashland came up short to Pikeville, 52-51. Gabby Karle had 14. Brookelyn Duckwyler added 13.

Ashland knocked off Montgomery County, 46-45. Duckwyler had 13 and hit the winning shot in the last seconds of the the game. Aryanna Gulley added 12.

Ashland awaits the winner of Boyd and Fairview for Wednesday night’s 64th District Championship.


BOYD COUNTY 14-12

Boyd went 0-3 this week with losses to Russell, Nitro and Johnson Central (71-41).

Boyd fell to Russell, 67-52. Kollyn Groves had 22. Jada Ray added 19.

Boyd came up short to Nitro, 63-51. Ray had 19. Groves kicked in 16. Carly Boyd grabbed 16 rebounds.

Boyd meets Fairview Monday night in the opening round of the 64th District Tournament.


FAIRVIEW 9-16

Fairview went 0-3 this week with losses to Raceland and Lewis County twice.

Fairview fell to Raceland, 73-35. Madison Loving had 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Fairview fell to Lewis, 54-42 in game one. Loving had 18 points and 10 rebounds. Emma Pierce finished with 13.

Fairview lost 60-38 in game two. Pierce had 17. Loving added 13.

Fairview will meet Boyd in the opening round of the 64th District Tournament Monday night.


63RD DISTRICT


GREENUP COUNTY 8-17

Greenup County went 0-2 this week with losses to East Carter and Rowan County.

Greenup fell to East, 65-44. Dharia Crum had 15. Addi Branim netted 12. Eva Wireman finished with 10 rebounds.

Greenup lost to Rowan, 78-32. Maddy Steele had 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Greenup meets Raceland Monday night in the opening round of the 63rd District Tournament.


RACELAND 16-12

Raceland went 2-1 this week with wins over Fairview and Bath County with a loss to Menifee County.

Raceland defeated Fairview, 73-35. Nim Maynard had 34 points while connecting on eight triples. Sydney Childers added 12.

Raceland bettered Bath County, 59-58 in overtime. Maynard had 31 points and 12 rebounds. Childers added 14.

Raceland fell to Menifee, 65-55. Maynard had 31.

Raceland meets Greenup County Monday night in the opening round of the 63rd District Tournament.


RUSSELL 21-7

Russell went 2-0 this week with wins over Boyd and Rowan County.

Russell defeated Boyd, 67-52. Kennedy Darnell had 19 points and 13 rebounds. Kam Fleming and Lily Ervin each had 13. Gabby Oborne added 12. Kenley Kouns had 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Russell hammered Rowan, 64-40. Oborne had 20 points. Darnell finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Kouns added 13.

Russell meets Lewis County Monday night in the opening round of the 63rd District Tournament.
