ASHLAND 4-9-1
Ashland went 0-3 this week with losses to Minford, 7-1, Wheelersburg, 5-1 and Bluegrass United, 2-1. Mary Beth Bolen scored the lone goal against Minford on Senior Night.
Ashland meets Russell Monday in the opening round of the 63rd District Tournament.
BOYD COUNTY 15-2-1
Boyd played to a scoreless tie with Prestonsburg on Monday and defeated Belfry, 7-1. Faith Burnside had five goals and an assist in the win over Belfry. Aubree Moore added two goals and two assists. Vivianne Allen and Grace Crowe assisted on a goal each.
Boyd will meet the winner of Ashland Russell in the 63rd District Championship Wednesday night.
RUSSELL 8-6-1
Russell fell to Wheelersburg, 4-3 in their only game this week. Ava Barker, Sophia Bagby and Alyssa Truett all scored in the loss. Emma Stamper and Bagby assisted on goals. Gabrielle Williams had 13 saves.
Russell plays Ashland in the opening round of the 63rd District Tournament Monday night.
GREENUP COUNTY 3-15
Greenup went 0-2 this week with losses to South Point, 7-0 and Bath County, 3-1. Greenup plays East Carter Tuesday in the opening round of the 62nd District Tournament.
