ASHLAND 12-1

Ashland went 4-0 this week with straight set wins over Rose Hill, Clinton County, Todd County Central and Corbin. No stats were reported.

Ashland visits Fairview Tuesday and travels to Tennessee over the weekend against Grainger, TN, Sale Creek, TN and Parkersburg, WV.

BOYD COUNTY 3-1

Boyd went 2-0 this week win straight set wins over East Carter and Raceland.

Payton Jones put down 11 kills to lead Boyd past East Carter. Hallie Barnett and Adria Queen each had seven. Queen led the Lions with six aces.

Jones and Queen led the Lions past the Rams with double digit kills. Jones had 13 and Queen finished with 12 along with three blocks. Lilah Thornbury kicked in eight and Natalee Ruggles had seven.

Boyd welcomes Russell Tuesday and plays Newport Central Catholic Friday in the Capital City Classic in Franklin County.

FAIRVIEW 5-6

Fairview went 0-3 this week with straight set losses to West Carter, Greenup County and Rowan County.

Maddie Loving had 10 kills and picked up her 1,000^th career dig in the loss to West Carter.

Fairview welcomes Raceland Monday, Ashland Tuesday, visits East Carter Thursday and welcomes Bath County Saturday.

ROSE HILL 0-5

Rose Hill went 0-2 this week with straight set losses to Ashland and Morgan County.

Rose Hill visits Greenup County Monday.

GREENUP COUNTY 5-3

Greenup went 1-1 this week with a straight set win over Fairview and straight set loss to Russell.

Lucy Roy and Peyton Powell notched double digit kills in the loss to Russell. Roy had 12 kills and Powell added 10. The duo combined for seven blocks and five aces.

Powell led the way in the win over Fairview with 17 kills and five blocks. Kaylee Braden had eight kills and Roy kicked in seven.

Greenup welcomes Rose Hill Monday, visits Raceland Tuesday and welcomes Lewis Wednesday.

RACELAND 3-6

Raceland fell in straight sets to Boyd in their only game this week. Allayson Rigsby led the way with 16 kills and a pair of blocks.

Raceland visits Fairview Monday, welcomes Greenup Tuesday, travels to Montgomery County Thursday and competes in the All “A” State Tournament in Owensboro this weekend.

RUSSELL 10-5

Russell went 2-0 this week with straight set wins over Greenup and Lewis County.

Kennedy Darnell and Jaycee Hall had double digit kills in the win over Greenup. Darnell slammed down 14 and Hall had 13. Sydney Sizemore added eight.

Hall led Russell with 10 kills in the win over Lewis. Sizemore had nine kills and Darnell kicked in eight.

Russell visits West Carter Monday and Boyd on Tuesday.
